How to add text to animated GIF
Adding text to animated GIFs and other images can greatly improve how effectively your message is delivered. This help guides how to use Honeycam's text insertion feature to add stylish captions with various styles such as fonts, colors, and outlines.

1. Open the insert menu
After recording your screen or loading an image to edit, click the Insert button in the Edit & Effect panel on the right side of the screen.
2. Insert text
Click the Insert New Text button (the first one) at the top of the panel, then choose your desired style. A text box will then be inserted on the screen.

3. Edit text style
You can customize the text style in the settings on the right. Easily apply various effects such as color, outlines, and shadows.

You can modify the text content at anytime by clicking the Edit Text button at the top of the text box.

4. Preview
Click the Play/Pause button to preview the animation in real time and check whether the text position and size are appropriate.

5. Apply and save
When you finish editing, click the OK button at the top-right corner of the screen. Return to the main editing screen and click the Save button to save the GIF immediately.
