Adding text to animated GIFs and other images can greatly improve how effectively your message is delivered. This help guides how to use Honeycam's text insertion feature to add stylish captions with various styles such as fonts, colors, and outlines.

Quick summary

  1. Record your screen, or open an existing file to edit
  2. Click Edit & Effect → Insert → New Text
  3. Enter your text and customize the font, color, outline, etc.

1. Open the insert menu

After recording your screen or loading an image to edit, click the Insert button in the Edit & Effect panel on the right side of the screen.

2. Insert text

Click the Insert New Text button (the first one) at the top of the panel, then choose your desired style. A text box will then be inserted on the screen.
